Mr David Nenner began his many musical experiences with a simple children’s toy keyboard around the age of 5, and although he did not take formal piano lessons at the time, he showed an immediate love for experimenting with sounds, as well as an aptitude for playing and learning music by ear. This developed further when he turned 8 and began taking private lessons to learn both the clarinet and oboe, and went on to participate in All-County and All-State Band/Orchestra for the state of Maryland all throughout elementary and middle school. In high school, David expanded his musical knowledge by learning and performing many different styles on both the guitar and voice, participated in Maryland’s All-State Choir program, and was accepted into the All-Eastern Choir program. Upon graduating high school, he attended Towson University and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, as well as his Maryland Teaching Certification (Grades K-12). Although his primary instrument throughout college was guitar, David’s experiences thereafter greatly expanded his knowledge of musical performance, as well as with songwriting and audio engineering. He has taught music classes at Public Charter Schools, Private Schools, and Special Education Schools. David looks forward to expanding his career by continuing to empower students of all ages to discover the ways that music can fit into their lives!
