Mrs. Heather Keller began learning viola in third grade. She loved it so much that it became much more than a hobby. By high school, she was playing for the Delaware County Youth Orchestra and also loved playing in pit orchestras. Due to her passion for music, she was a Music Performance major at Temple University, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She loves playing in large orchestras as well as small ensembles. At Temple, she had the honor of performing with the university’s orchestra at the Kimmel Center, the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. She began her teaching career while studying for her master’s degree. She loves teaching students of all ages and approaches each one with an individual curriculum in mind, enjoying that every day holds something new ahead. Watching her students grow as musicians is the best part of her career.
